2022, Human Pathology ReportsCitation Excerpt :The involvement of visceral organs, such as the spleen and liver, are also scarcely documented. One such case, however, involved a patient who was immunosuppressed post-cardiac transplant presenting with fever, myalgias, and nausea [11]. She did not present with skin lesions which led to days of serological testing and scanning, eventually revealing hepatic and splenic enlargement necessitating a biopsy where a definitive diagnosis of BA was made [11].
